Brief
The judge, Robin Pridy, has set the following challenge for our third competition of 2026:
“For this competition, I’d love to see you use these elements I’ve discussed [in the workshop on 27th April] to write a set of three short, linked flash fiction pieces – in total, it should be no more than 1,200 words. Think of each short piece as beads on a string. They can be different lengths, or each of the three can be about 400 words – up to you. Ideally, they will hang together but be somewhat separate – tenuous ties allowed!”
