The Hastings Writers’ Group (HWG) is open to writers over the age of 18.
The annual subscription is £90 for a year, or £45 for six months. This covers:
- The hire of our meeting room;
- Fees for competition judges and workshop leaders;
- Annual subscription to the National Association of Writers and Groups; and
- Expenses surrounding the running of the group.
Those interested in joining may wish to get in touch via our contact us page and come along for a free ‘taster’ evening before deciding whether they think the HWG is for them.
We currently meet at Crown House, located on the Marina in St. Leonards-on-Sea, TN38. Meetings run from 19.30 to 21.30. Please arrive promptly.
Younger writers may be interested in joining the Hastings Young Writers which is for those aged between 11-18. For those younger than that, the Hastings Junior Writers is for under-11s just setting off on their creative journey. Details about these groups can be got by contacting the HWG email.
