Joanna Harper took up writing fiction after years in academia. Her first novel, Picture My Father, explores issues of beauty, goodness and ethics, and is still looking for a home. She has since written two further novels which she is currently submitting to various agents and publishers.
After a career as a professional dancer, and with two young children, she took a degree in psychology and spent many years teaching and researching. Once retired, she founded Bratton Clovelly Festival in Devon, and headed the Central and West division of Devon for Europe, before realising that all she really wanted to do was write.
Born in Australia, she has spent many years in the Netherlands and the UK and now lives happily by the sea in Eastbourne. She regularly posts on her blog.
