About me

I have written in one way or another for a living most of my life. I worked for many years with the Hastings Observer Group as a reporter and News Editor, and also was a Sussex Police Press and Public Relations Officer.
With young children in tow, I switched careers to work in education (special needs). In 2015 I decided to focus on my ambition of becoming a published author.

To relax – and think up story ideas – I like nothing better than a country walk with my family and three dogs. A glass of wine helps too!

I joined HWG at the start of 2016.

My writing

I have written three novels so far: a dark YA called Watching about a selective mute and a psychopathic piano teacher; a light children’s story – Welly the Singing Rescue Dog; and a historical crossover set in a 19th century Welsh mining village, The Miracle of Moses Mole. Editing and submitting to agents ongoing. Itching to write more.
